BMS: Companies Must Act Together Now to Resolve Racial Health Disparities

$0.00

The disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on under-served communities, especially on Black and Latino Americans, requires us to do more to address the underlying disadvantages and disparities that have limited the health and opportunity available to them. Until our health care system reaches all patients – resulting in improved health, healing and cures no matter the race, gender or identity of the people we serve – we have not succeeded as an industry or as a society.

Along with many industry leaders across the private sector taking action, at Bristol Myers Squibb we are prioritizing and expanding health equity and advancing diversity and inclusion across our organization. These efforts are energized by the commitments we’ve made to our patients and customers, employees, global communities, shareholders, environment and other stakeholders. In fact, we are focusing on how we can help improve areas of health care delivery in which societal biases prevent patients from accessing needed treatments.
